This session will introduce you to the relationship between humans and their built environment. What kind of influences does space have on its inhabitants? We will explore your experiences with architecture and glean some insights into ourselves. Apart from the abstract effects of architecture, the session will also introduce you to the practical process of creating a building from design to construction.
Who should attend
The course has no pre-requisites. Anyone who is keen to pursue a architecture or interested in understanding future career options can attend.

Padma is a practicing architect who currently works with Research Design Office, which is a design collaborative between architects in 3 cities. She has worked in firms in India and the US, on architecture and interiors projects ranging from schools, multi-family housing and private residential projects.
She has an undergraduate degree in architecture from Bangalore University and a masters in Environment and energy studies in architecture from the Architectural Association, London, UK.
